3 days challenge
Many people struggle to visualize how their home could look once furnished or redecorated. Current interior design tools are often either too technical (requiring 3D modeling skills) or too abstract (AI tools that generate images with unrealistic furniture). As a result, users can’t easily connect the design experience to real products they can actually buy, creating a gap between imagination and execution
Target users
people who have recently moved or are looking to redesign their homes. These are users who care about aesthetics but don’t have professional design skills. I also considered home decor enthusiasts and young professionals who want a quick and realistic way to visualize their space before purchasing furniture.
Pain Points
Need a simple, intuitive way to visualize their space, without learning complex design tools
Want realistic results that reflect their actual room proportions, lighting, and layout
Feel frustrated by AI tools that generate abstract or unrealistic designs
Struggle to find furniture that matches both their style and budget
Feel overwhelmed by too many online options and disconnected shopping experiences
seek a tool that combines creativity with practicality, helping them design confidently using real, purchasable products
people often screenshot inspiration from Pinterest but struggle to recreate the same atmosphere with available products
design, products, and cost — in one place
Dresspace is an intelligent web platform that allows users to upload a photo of their room and instantly see how it could look when designed. The system analyzes the image (lighting, perspective, proportions) and allows users to “dress up” the space with real products available online or near them
